Founding architects of Studio Aakruti
Founders

Ar. Harsh Dixit & Ar. Neel Patel

Two architects who set out from Ognaj with a simple conviction: a home should be designed around the family that lives in it, not the other way around.

Over seven years and 42+ projects, that conviction has grown into a practice spanning architecture, interiors and landscape — each discipline informing the next, so that a house, its rooms and its garden are conceived as one continuous idea.

The studio's work has been featured by RTF (Rethinking The Future) and Architizer, recognised for balancing contemporary design language with the Vastu principles many Gujarati families still build by.

Philosophy

Modernity, without losing memory.

Gujarat's residential architecture carries centuries of climate-wisdom — courtyards for cross-ventilation, thick walls against the heat, orientation tied to the sun and the family's daily rhythm.

We don't discard that inheritance to look contemporary. We translate it — using clean lines, honest materials and open volumes that still respect Vastu shastra, so a home feels both of-its-time and rooted in where it stands.

How We Work

From first sketch to last detail.

Listen

Understand the family

Every project begins with the people, not the plot — how the family lives, gathers, and wants Vastu honoured.

Design

One vision, three disciplines

Architecture, interiors and landscape are developed together, never as separate handoffs.

Deliver

Present, on site, to the end

Our founders stay involved through construction — from layout to the last switchplate.

Begin Your Legacy

Most of our work begins with a single conversation.
